What Avanvue is
Avanvue is a space for connection, built on a way of looking and on trust. I follow each artist over time, explaining their work, its context, and what led me to choose them. Few artists, few artworks, and a great deal of attention for each one.
How I choose artists
I’m not looking for what’s trendy or what sells quickly. What interests me is a vision, an artist who works out of necessity. An artwork that grabs me when it creates tension: something pulls me in, something pushes back. But emotion is not enough. I look at the coherence between what an artist says and what they produce. Avanvue does not promise to spot the next name on the market. It stands behind work that is solid and holds up over time.
What Avanvue guarantees
Prices are clear and posted, with nothing hidden and no promise of future value. What I explain is the artwork and the artist, never what they’ll be worth tomorrow. I guide you with with care, without sales pressure. You have the right to take your time, to hesitate, and not to buy if the artwork does not find its right place. And while an artwork is shown here, it is shown nowhere else: this rule protects the relationship and the trust the purchase is built on.
What Avanvue is not
Neither a traditional gallery nor a marketplace. Neither an investment promise nor a tool for speculation. Avanvue stands for a different way of collecting: buying an artwork because it moves you, because it has a place in your life, because you believe in an artist before the market speaks louder than they do.
Your questions
How are prices set?
Every price is set with the artist and shown inclusive of all taxes. My remuneration is a commission agreed upon with them, which is already included. You pay nothing more than the displayed price, excluding delivery.
Do you represent the artists?
Yes, under an agency agreement, for the artworks I present here. The artists remain free to work elsewhere. But each one has been met, their artworks seen up close, and I stand by my choice.
Do I need expertise to buy?
No. You can come knowing nothing about art. I explain what you are looking at, and you are the one who chooses.
Is the artwork authenticated?
Yes. Each artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Is the artwork framed?
That depends on the artist and the artwork. When the artwork is framed, it is indicated on its page. Otherwise, it is delivered unframed, and I can advise you on framing.
How does delivery work?
Before any payment, I provide you with the total amount, including delivery. For a large format, a quote is provided within 48 hours. I provide tracking until it reaches your home.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days after receipt to let me know. The return is then at your expense, in packaging as protective as the original, ideally with tracking and insurance. Commissioned artworks are not eligible.
